Can't join friend, allowed through Firewall.

Hi, I cannot join my friend, and he cannot join me, we are on steam and have allowed the game through firewall.
Is steam maybe the problem?

    I have to wait infinitely on ''Joining game'', and nothing happens. I am in the Faroe islands and i've seen some people talking about needing a vpn

    Hey Harrin,

    It sounds like the NAT punch may be failing you two. Can you try forwarding port 3000 and then hosting the game, then having your friend join via your IP address? (whatismyip.com)

    Hey, we did this, but then after a while of waiting we got ''Multiplayer error, connection timed out''.

    Hey Harrin,

    This really sounds like the game isn't being permitted through your firewall. Are you sure you both did so correctly? Could you post screenshots?
