not picking up kits

in an invasion game when i press "call to arms" most bricktrons that are carrying things pick up a kit but 2nd/ last bricktron to pick up a kit doesn't pick it up unless I tell them to drop the thing they are carrying first and the icon to say that they have been set the task to pick it up just flashes instead of doing it once

Every once in a while this glitch happens to me too, want a save at the moment it happens if I catch it in action?

I think the problem is that The surroundings don't have any space for them to drop the stuff they are carrying
