Bricktrons run on the spot\stand still everytime I'm not a Host

First of all, i have no troubles with multyplayer when i'm hosting (yet)
But everytime I connect to other players (friends or strangers - doesn't matter) the game breaks after 15-30 min:
- Bricktrons run on the spot \ stand still. I can't do anything. But other players could see my Bricktrons continue working (i've checked it with my friend)
- Same thing with chat: i can type and other players can see my words, but it doesn't appears on my screen.
All I can do is just leave the server...

We've had this issue in the past with others, it's not only happening to you.
Quick question, are you sure it happens depending on whether you're hosting or not, as opposed to how long the game has been going on for?
Another quick question, do you have any virtual network software installed, such as Tunngle, Hamachi, EvolveHQ, etc?
- no Tunngle, Hamachi etc.
- i don't know if it happens depending on whether I'm hosting or not. All I can say for sure: I have never had any problems being a Host (1-2 hours each game, on average). And again, when I'm not a Host the game lasts only 15-30 min max for me everytime(!)
- I've been played about 7 matches as a Host and about 10 attempts as a guest (if it matters)
This sounds eerily similar to another issue players have had in the past, so I'm gonna put you through the same steps just to check and see if that's what's causing it.
We need some information to try and debug this issue. Notably, we need to know something called "MTU".
Ideally, we need both the host and the clients to do this, so if you played with a friend and this issue happened, please ask them to do the same thing. If you are not on Windows, this won't work, please tell me your OS and I'll find out the way to do it for that OS.
- Click start at the bottom left.
- Type "CMD" and open the Command Prompt app.
- In the black window that pops up, type this: netsh interface ipv4 show subinterfaces
- Hit enter
Now we need a screenshot of that. If you know how to send a screenshot, please send us a screenshot of your Command Prompt. If you don't know how to send a screenshot, please follow these steps:
- Make sure the Command Prompt window is in focus (that means click on it)
- Hold ALT on your keyboard and press the "PRT SC" button which should be at the top left of your keyboard, above the arrows keys, to the right of the "F12" key on most keyboards.
- Go to http://www.imgur.com/
- Hit CTRL + V on your keyboard.
It will begin uploading the screenshot on Imgur. Wait a few seconds (or minutes, depending on your internet speed).
- Copy the URL in the address bar of your browser which should look like https://imgur.com/a/****
- Paste it to me here.
Thank you!
This is when not in the game (if it usefull):
Could you provide me with the logs the next time your Bricktrons freeze? https://sauropodstudio.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/115001840547-How-to-Find-Multiplayer-Logs
Also, can you ask the person you play with (and connect to) to check their MTU too and post a picture here?
And I will defenetly provide you with the logs!
Sorry again for this - it's an issue we've seen when users have a virtual network adapter installed that lowers their MTU, but yours seems fine, so I'm not sure what could be going on.
Actually, could you elaborate a little on your network setup? Routers/modems/walls?
I was not a host.
It ends about 16:28
I use router: Asus WL-520GC
no firewalls
no antivirus
I do not have such troubles in other modern multiplayer games I play or when I'm hosting the Castle Story (just in case )
Can you add me on Steam? I'd like to try hosting to see if you've just been unlucky with the hosts you've joined. The logs don't show much info besides a typical timeout, meaning the connection dropped. There's like, an infinity of reasons this can happen.
I was hosting, Charlie joined me and has the bug around 18 minutes.
My logs attached.
