Could we get an option that allows us to create a "slab" of land on the map? I wanted to do a map where I filled in the entire map with a slab of land that was 16 blocks in depth and then put in hills, mountains, trenches, and resources, but I couldn't find anything that would help me. I also tried looking through the files and I found that a heightmap is used, but when i tried to alter it I ended up with some funky results. Is there a particular software I should use if I want to alter the heightmap until the map editor gets more tools?

Do you mean in the world editor? I'm reaaaaally confused by what you mean "a slab". You can definitely put down terrain, but I'm assuming that's not what you meant..
