Friend can`t join

Hey,
I`m having trouble with hosting the game. I`m trying to host the game through hamachi. But when my friend tries to join my server, it says "Connection timed out" everytime. But if he hosts the game, I can join easily. But I would rather want to host the game because I have much stronger computer, but I don`t know why he can`t join my server when I create it.

Unfortunately, I can't help you with Hamachi because I have no experience with it. We do know that there have been stability issues when players have Hamachi or other virtual network software such as Tunngle or EvolveHQ (or Hamachi) installed on their machines.
Why don't you guys connect directly to each other instead of going through Hamachi?
