Saves and Loads not working correctly

When I start a new game, I can save it and quicksave it as much as i want/need to. Once I load that game later though, the save and load menu then disappear and I can't even use the quicksave. I fixed this by validating and restarting, but that doesn't seem to work anymore, and I really don't want to reinstall it every time this happens, which is every other time I play. Is there a fix for this already, or is one on the way?
