I think I found the problem it is in red the red circle when I clicked at it wouldn't allow me to remove mute this is the picture

Hey Bbnut,

I'm trying it on my side ; there's nothing to tell you visually that the mute is toggled on or off (which is an issue) but the sound does mute and unmute on my side.

What software does CS run on maybe I could find the problem. I just need to know what the audio file is called.

what I have done is I when into the settings and turn mute off and on but on the bar puts mute and doen't unmute it just stays as mute. Even when I click at the mute buttons it won't go unmute and mute. I have also tried refreshing CS but still nothing .

Shatojon, I got an idea if I download the game on the windows XP or toshiba could find out if the audio problem is the windows 10 or it not being downloaded properly.

Castle Story is developed on Unity. Others have had the no audio issue and there are steps to fix it in the article I linked you above - have you tried that? Especially installing the C++ Redists? https://steamcommunity.com/app/227860/discussions/1/365172547937124646/

I tried redownloading CS 5 times but it made no difference. The sound is still not coming on. But I did find that when I go to the sound mixer sound unmuted it doesn't show the grey bar that moves up and down.
