Tile states replaced with leaf, resources floating, bricktrons Desync

Hi,

Playing multiplayer castle story first time with a friend i convinced to buy the game

We have encountered two different problems that have prevented us from playing.

1. Bricktrons Desync
Friend: Client
Me: Host
Map: Helix
Duration: 10 minutes approx
Description: Friends Bricktrons running on the spot, not moving, game responsive but none of the characters are doing anything. From my perspective the host, game is working correctly
Analysis: Attempted to reload game, Bricktrons stopped moving after approximately 30 seconds.

2. Tile States Desync
Friend: Host
Me: Client
Map: Pioneer Pass
Duration: First occurs at approximately 5 minutes
Description: Cannot place stockpile structure on certain tiles - does not register command, for my friend (the host) the structure placed correctly, on my screen (the client) the completed stockpile structure appears as a leaf (see attached image)

Additionally bags carried by workers, stone, wooden planks all begin floating above stockpiles, next to a catapult being constructed, and adjacent to a Furnace

As the game progresses more tiles are desyncing and are replaced with a leaf - furnaces, stockpiles. Bricktrons delivering stone to a stockpile appear on my screen (the client) to dump the stone bits onto the ground (see attached image) on my friends screen (the host) they are placing the stone onto the stockpile.

--------

Ran check on internet connection - 9ms ping, 200mb down, 17mb up, no packet loss detected.

We enjoy the game and hope there is a solution so we can play together. Thanks!

    Hey Crispy,

Can both you and your friend follow these steps for me, please:

Ideally, we need both the host and the clients to do this, so if you played with a friend and this issue happened, please ask them to do the same thing. If you are not on Windows, this won't work, please tell me your OS and I'll find out the way to do it for that OS.

    - Click the start button at the bottom left.
    - Type "CMD" and open the Command Prompt app.
    - In the black window that pops up, type this: netsh interface ipv4 show subinterfaces
    - Hit enter

Now we need a screenshot of the results in that black window. If you know how to send a screenshot, please send us a screenshot of your Command Prompt. If you don't know how to send a screenshot, please follow these steps:

    - Make sure the Command Prompt window (black window) is in focus (that means click on it)
    - Hold ALT on your keyboard and press the "PRT SC"/PRINT SCREEN button which should be at the top right of your keyboard, above the arrows keys, to the right of the "F12" key on most keyboards.
    - Go to http://www.imgur.com/
    - Hit CTRL + V on your keyboard.
It will begin uploading the screenshot on Imgur. Wait a few seconds (or minutes, depending on your internet speed).
    - Copy the URL in the address bar of your browser which should look like https://imgur.com/a/****
    - Paste it to me here.

    Thank you!

Hi Crispy, do you have a virtual network adapter such as Hamachi, Tunngle, etc. installed?

If so, that's the cause - try disabling it and trying again.
  • Thanks! - we are now no longer seeing the problem - problem solved!
