    Hi Svetoch,

Can you elaborate a little more on what's going on? What do you mean by "GPU Crash"? What exactly are you seeing on screen and what triggers it?
  • World loading complete. I see the desktop. Sounds of the game. Or the blue screen of death with VIDEO-TDR-FAILURE.

    Hey Svetoch,

It does indeed seem to be a GPU failure. Have you recently updated your graphic card drivers and/or attempted a fresh reinstall of them?
  • Yes. And other games work correctly (fallout 4, mount and blade, starcraft 2).
I have another laptop on which castle story runs normally. (gtx 850m)
    I don't understand the difference.

Hey Svetoch, this is pretty unusual. Let me make sure I understand what's going on so I can better try to help you.

You're launching Castle Story from Steam, the launcher appears, you click the big white play button. The game launches and you land in the main menu, from where you select singleplayer/multiplayer, select a map and a gamemode, and click play.

The black loading screen with a yellow loading bar appears and goes all the way to 100%, then your computer displays a blue screen of death?

    Is that correct?
  • Exactly. Or I see the desktop with sounds from the game.

    Hey @Svetoch

Could you try launching the game in a smaller resolution (something like 1280 x 720) and lower all the graphic settings as low as possible in the options, before selecting a map and gamemode?

    Does that help any?
  • No. I've tried all the resolutions.

    Hey @Svetoch,

At this point, I would recommend a fresh reinstall of your graphics cards drivers.

Also - is the inside of your system very dusty? Is there any dust caked on your graphic card, notably its fans?
  • GPU not working when run the game.
  • I try run the game on intel card and have the same problem.
  • Maybe something was changed.

    Hey Svetoch,

Have you tried a fresh reinstall of your GPU?
  • Yes.
I only have a problem with Castle story.
All other games are working fine. Only your game does not start. And only on this laptop. My old laptop and my friend's PC are running it. I think it's about incompatibility.
