Tasks can't be edited or deleted

So my problem is/was: Sometimes when I create a task it doesn't show up in the task bar and it has no confirmation/priorization window. The only way to get out of the Taskmode is to press Esc or something else. The problem is, that these tasks are now permanent, because I can't delete them due to the lack of a proper window for deleting or editing the task.
My guess is that this has something to do with the limits of tasks. Could it be that if the taskbar has no space left to display another task that the game gets confused? I am not really sure cause me and my brother didn't really notice when exactly the bug occured, but it continued untill the end of the game no matter how many tasks we had.
Ohh and I want to note that tasks which were created before the bug could still be edited.

So this bug isn't allways active, but it destroys the whole session if you encounter it. Please take a look. Thanks.

    Hey ChangeCraft,

That's odd, I'll forward this to our QA but we've never heard of this issue before.

Thank you for sharing. If you figure out how to reproduce it, be sure to let us know.
  • Hi Shatojon,

Just want to confirm that someone else has this problem too. I agree with ChangeCraft that it seems to be when there are more tasks than can fit on the taskbar. So to reproduce it, (in a co-op Invasion game if that matters) make a bunch of tasks until new icons don't appear in the taskbar then try removing the new ones.

Hopefully this can be fixed for the next patch.

Actually, I encountered this. I had harvesting tasks that I could no longer edit. They didn't show up on the task bar. The resources were gone, so I wanted to cancel them. But, clicking on them didn't seem to bring up the dialog for that.

But, later, I think when I reloaded at some point, I found that those tasks were now modifiable again. So, I cancelled them, and everything went back to normal. I'm not sure if they returned to normal straight after reloaded. I didn't notice until quite a while into it.

Edit: Oh, and I should probably also mention that I had a fair few tasks going that the time. Too many. I suspect that's what caused two of them to go like that. I'm not sure if I had less, when I reloaded. But, I may have.
