GUI is broken under Nvidia card

I have an integrated Intel video card, and the game runs correctly (albeit very slow) with that. Switching to Nvidia card makes the whole GUI broken down.

This is how the starting page looks like (note the right panel and the exit button):


The options tab is screwed up:


Play tab (game mode names missing):


And there are no maps to choose from, so I can't start the actual game:



The game version is 1.1.0c.44e8 (17, 14, 2), downloaded 08.01.2018 from Steam.
Video card: Nvidia GeForce GT 540 M.
Video card drivers: proprietary Nvidia drivers version 387.22.
Operating system: Gentoo Linux.

    Update: after going to "Play" tab and returning back to the starting screen, the "Exit" button has now the correct text (namely, "Exit"). The news panel is still broken, though, as are all other game tabs.

    Hey Lisaryus,

    Your resolution is extremely small, which is breaking the UI. Can you try a more common resolution? At least 1280 x 720 to try.
