Friends can't join after I load a saved, multiplayer game.

Hi. My brother and were having a lot of fun playing cooperatively, but once we went to load our saved game, we realized that there doesn't seem to be a way for him to join the game. On top of that, it puts me in charge of his units instead of my own. Can someone please tell me how to correctly load saved multiplayer games? Thank you.

    Hey AWOLKILLER,

    Can you elaborate on "there doesn't seem to be a way for him to join the game"? You he doesn't see your game in the lobby? What if he right-clicks your name on Steam and clicks "Join Game"?

    Also, you both have to set the correct color you had when you started. The colors affect which Bricktrons are a different faction/group from others. You could have been blue and him red, while on the same team.

    If you set your color to his, you'll be controlling his faction. If you both have the same color, you'll share control on the same Bricktrons.

    Sure I can elaborate. While on the main menu I click "Load Game," which takes me to the list of saved games. From here, I click on the saved multiplayer game and click "Play," then it loads me into the game. There doesn't seem to be a way to select my color when I load a game this way.

    Also, yes we did try having him join through Steam.

    You have to choose Multiplayer, then choose Host.

    When you Host, you open a lobby. From there, you need to go to the right and select the map, then on the left, select Saved Games, and choose the game from there. Your friend can join during this process.

    Once you click Ready, the Lobby will close to everyone, preventing anyone from joining. It will also start the Download process for your friend.
