GTA 5 with 30 FPS but this game is Laggy? (Problem resolved after update)

I can play GTA 5 on medium graphics with 30 FPS but this game is really laggy for me. Can you tell me if there is something with the game that doesn't really work with my PC specs. Here are my PC specs:

Proccesor: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU E7500 @ 2.93GHz 2.93 GHz

Installed Ram: 4,00 GB available 3,80 GB

Systemtype: 64-Bit

Graphicscard: NVIDIA GeForce GT 640

DirectX: DirectX 10

Graphicsdriver Version: 10.18.13.6839

Computer Model: OptiPlex 780

Comments

  • I can't say anything for sure, I'm not a dev, but those do seem like some really old specs, and very very possible that they just cannot handle this game.

Yeah but i mean i can play high end games, and let's be honest, this game doesn't have graphics, nearly as good. Which i find just weird, that it runs so bad.

Graphics means next to nothing. You could program a game that doesn't even use the GPU if you wanted.
For instance, take Dwarf Fortress, a game similar to this. It has no graphics, but will still destroy your computer when you get far into it.

Both of these games rely heavily on the CPU, and the CPU alone. AI is not done on the GPU, it is processed through your CPU, and there is a LOT of AI calculations to be done constantly. Not to mention all of the physics calculations.

    Hey Manuel,

Unfortunately, with less than 4GB of RAM available, Castle Story is going to run poorly on your machine.
  • I got
    16GB
    Intel i7 2.7Ghz
    GeForce 940MX
And my game also get laggy, some times bricks are placed not where I place it, but a few squares away
