Way too much, heh! But seriously, once one has the necessary knowledge of how building works exactly it's going on really fast. Also I often just let the game run while I do more important things.

Yip. I think it wouldn't be possible to build things like that with a broken game. Furthermore my submission for the building contest "just" took me 14 hours, which is quite fast, I would say, since I'm not that familiar with the wood system, or was respectively.

I seldom build that way. Most of the time it's layer by layer. Also I often don't have any idea what a structure is going to be.

Heh. Well, I draw a circle on a sheet of checkered paper, thus I get an idea of how I have to place the bricks.

But it really depends on how big the round building is going to be. Often it's not even necessary to draw a circle. I just place the blueprints in a way that it's looking good. That's it.
