Missing Menu / Stair Problems

Hi Folks,

I was waiting for the 8.2b so that building is possible again.

- the Menu missing issue is not solved
- Why can the small yellow guys walk up here BUT NOT walk down?
- Why are they still miss to build stairs in quarrys?
- until 8.0 they can climb up the missing stair. now they stay in the quarry

Ok, I'm back with the next version - unplayable right now. :( :'(

    Got the same problem, just changed the construction...
    But that is not how it is supposed to work...

    The Problem is still in 8.3! So I can't use quarrys :(

    Hey Teawan,

    The issue only happens on a specific map/savefile - correct? If you start a new game, your quarry works fine?

    What about if you try building a quarry on a different, "virgin" area in the same map/savefile?

    Hi Shatojon,

    this happens actually on the "Colibri" map. So a brand new map. I just build my Storage shed on it :smiley:.

    I helped my self with tunneling into the quarrys. For now I get my stones from tunnels....

    And NO it works even on a empty map just for a short while. I attached two pictures where you can see the issue.

    I attached the save for you. One quarry is under the Tower. You can see where I digged a tunnel into it

    Hey Teawan,

    So basically, you made a tunnel where the quarry's stairs are, so the quarry's stairs were destroyed by the tunnel task and now the Bricktrons are stuck down there.

    Am I understanding the issue correctly?

    It's more the opposite way. I was forced to build the tunnel in Order to geht down as the stairs disappeared earlier.

    Really sorry, I'm having a hard time pinpointing what the issue is.

    Is this correct: when you create a quarry on Colibri, the stairs randomly disappear/break? Every single time?

    So far: yes. I have three quarry and the error occurred in all three.

    I start a new game right now and will give it a try.

    Tonight I was unable to reproduce the error with the latest version (0.8.3.a)

    Ok, here we go:


    When you open the save you'll see another Mine with the same issue.

    I thought this error was gone.

    It's hard to play without stone....

    and they did it again:

    Same quarray as in my post (http://forums.castlestory.net/discussion/comment/2162/#Comment_2162)
    Just 30 minutes later :(

    That's pretty crazy. Thank you for the heads up, I'm going to ping QA with this again.

    One more strange thing: if you remove the massive block in the middle of a stair and you reload the game you might have the massive Block back.
