Error on starting multiplayer

Me and my brother want to play together, we're on the same wi-fi network. We are fine when we are in the "lobby" but once we try to play the game together there is an error. The error happens to whoever is the client, the host's game pauses still the client aborts.

I had this problem once (with a friend who was not on the same wifi). We just restart the game (both of us) and it worked just fine !

Could you both try a fresh reinstall? This sounds like a corrupted/modded file.
