More things in the Strategies section so new people can now some cool tricks!
And multi language support will be cool too!

    What sorta tricks, Moloco? :)

Maybe a new tips section, where you can put some tricks for every single gamemode.
For example how to defeat coruptrones easily, or how to defend your base, building tips, etc. Things like that!
  • There doesn't seem to be anything on slowing walls; in the wiki, I would suggest just even mentioning what they are and how important they are.

  • Hi, i think it would be cool if you could add a How to build a second floor tutorial at the wiki because many people would like to build that but don't know how. Thanks Shatojon.

Noted :) Until then, can I suggest you play around with the new plug bricks? :D Plug bricks + beams + plank on top.. you'll figure it out in no time. ;) You could also put two plug bricks on top of each other, beam on the plug brick on top, then brace on the plug brick on the bottom, and your beam can now be much longer! (Don't forget the planks on top of the beams)

Thanks Shatojon. But it was not for me. Some friends ask me how to do so that's why i suggest it.

Since I'm not a modding guy and absoulutely ungifted when it's about even understanding it, a section about modding maybe?!

  • ShatojonShatojon Administrator Developer Backer Wiki Editor
We don't want to "officially" support modding yet. It's fine to do it and we'll help out when we can, but we don't want to make it seem like the game is fully moddable and ready to mod comfortably, etc.

Do you actually have any good news for me then? :p

    Heh. I'm just kidding,lol!

Have I been giving you bad news? :( Must be the crunch for 0.9, try to get as much as possible done, so I tend to spend a little less time on my replies. I still love you <3

Relax château jaune! :) I was refering to another reply of you, in addition to this one here it gave me reason for a somewhat sarcastic comment. Sorry.
But the foretaste of what is to come(0.9!!!!) compensates every neglect of your business!

Oh, and I love you too.

  • Maybe you want to add a little guide for the Compound Blueprints? It's a freakin' awesome feature!

    Good point!

Maybe a thread that stands out for the new people that show how to actually do something in game, how to fix multiplayer, and how to actually see the parts of map you need etc... or answering the steam friend requests within a decent time frame so that people who were excited to get the game can play!!?? :expressionless:
My friend is a streamer and we wanted to stream the game ( which can help sales for you!) BUT can't get multiplayer to work!

    Hi Airumeil201a,

Unfortunately, Steam isn't the ideal platform for support, lots of messages on there are never seen because of restarting my computers frequently while testing things, being outside of the studio, etc. It's a friends' list for chatting with friends - that's all. :)

If you need prompt help and what to insure your message isn't missed, the best platform to use is our help desk at http://support.castlestory.net - it'll allow you to open a ticket which we go through by order we've received them.

    Thanks!
  • Multi-language support for Castle Story Wiki would be cool

Shatojon, the Steam discussion about the Wiki is closed (http://steamcommunity.com/app/227860/discussions/4/2579854400737312945/) so you'll hardly get a response from users there. I was trying to post a reply in the thread since you guys don't seem to know what a Wiki is: a Wiki is a bundle of linked, community-edited pages each exposing a piece of content (which third party users will eventually create on a separate website if the game goes well), not a list of video tutorials. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wiki
  • ShatojonShatojon Administrator Developer Backer Wiki Editor
    Hey Banderi,

We're well aware of what a wiki is - we wanted to keep it relatively close to begin with, add all the base content and set everything up with the help of handpicked Wiki editors before opening it for public edits.

    Thank you.
  • Glad to hear, a documentation like that would be amazingly helpful with the game. Looking forward to it!
