I mostly only listen to music when I'm working, or outside in the summer chilling in the yard.
Either way, I usually pop on Google Music's Working to a Beat playlist, specifically Laidback House & EDM.
Wow... I was looking for something like this, thank you so much !
Personally, I'm listening a LOT of different type of music. You are going to learn a lot about me Let's start with that (Electro-Instrumental), this (GOT' Soundtrack), this (Epic-Metal) or, to finish, this (french music).
Other than that, I'm a classically educated violinist, so I listen to quite a lot of classical music (Vivaldi is my favourite composer). I can also recommend Giuseppe Tartini's "Il Trillo Del Diavolo" (https://play.google.com/music/m/B5udp26rfb2l3vwxhrlo5aikfxe?t=Vivaldi_Le_quattro_stagioni__Tartini_Sonata_in_G_minor_Trillo_del_Diavolo_-_Anne-Sophie_Mutter) One of the first known musical pieces that got banned by the Catholic Church, due to "satanical content". The story goes that Tartini had a dream in which he met the devil, and was granted one wish. He gave the devil his violin, and told him to play the best music in the world, and when he woke up, he quickly wrote down the music. It is know to violinists as one of the most difficult pieces to play, due to the fact that you have to play two different tunes, at different speeds, at once. Something that ought to be impossible on a violin...

Not too distracting but goes well hand in hand with my morning coffee to keep me awake in the wee hours of the morning at the studio.
