Building nice castles outside sandbox mode.

Hi guys, some ideas after playing around with Castle Story.

I really like to construct stunning castles, it is one of the reasons I purchased Castle Story. But it think that outside the sandbox there isn't much incentive to build a fancy castle like in the trailer.
A wall to close of the entry road to my territory is enough to stop the corruptions. As the game progresses this wall gets bigger and lined with bear traps, only making it more ugly.

I would suggest rewarding players to build proper castles with rooms and towers, and here are some ideas:
- Give archers a shooting or vision bonus on tall structures.
- Add elements that require rooms. (like NPCs in terraria require a roofed space.)
- Add a cross-section view that allows players to easily look inside structures.
- Make it easier to defend high walls, now archers can't even shoot down to the base of the wall they're on.
- Make construction easier to avoid micromanaging bricktrons when they built in the wrong order, blocking their paths.

I would like to hear more opinions and ideas on this.

    Hi AceTron!

    Awesome suggestions, thank you. :)

For the third one, this already exists, it's called X-Ray. Hover your mouse on the menu button at the top right and toggle X-Ray, then use shift + scroll to look into the buildings.

Hope that helps and thank you for the ideas.

Thanks Shatojon, I tried the X-Ray and it works very nicely!

    I thought of more ideas:
    - Base the strength of a brick on the amount of bricks contacting it or above it; that way a thick high wall will be harder to break trough for corruptions.
    - Allow stone or clay to be processed to bricks in a furnace, these could be cheaper or stronger bricks with the drawback of needing fire gems to keep the furnace burning. (also solves fire-gem overproduction.)
    - Metal wall anchor plates; used to strengthen the wall or maybe attach beams to them for flooring. And It's a nice ornament on the wall. (also gets rid of metal overstock.)
    - In Stronghold, you would get a message: "The keep is enclosed" when you had a curtainwall all around it. Maybe copy it and add a bonus to wall strength when a crystal is fully encircled by walls.

I'll probably add more in the future.
