Pausing while building

In survival, the clock is always ticking. Most people don't do well under pressure. Whenever I lay down blueprints, I rush, because the enemy is coming, and time is running out, at a constant rate. I would like it if we could pause the game while retaining the ability to set tasks and give commands, like supreme commander (that one game you probably don't know about). This feature isn't big, but it will make quite a splash, and everyone likes splashes. This will give players more thinking time, and allow them to come up with much more complex buildings, which will improve the quality of this game by quite a bit. Please put this in, for my sakes and yours.

For Dusk is coming. And it isn't friendly.

Hey SGOTI! We're definitely hear and definitely reading suggestions. :) All of them are brought up and discussed but sometimes a final decision isn't taken as quickly and we'd rather not promise things if we aren't 100% certain whether or not we'll be able to implement them!
  • Thanks for responding! I don't know much about gamemaking, but the ability to pause while issuing orders dosent seem out of your limits. I am confident in your abilities!
  • As long as pausing was only limited to when you were making blueprints I think it wouldn't impact gameplay much. Beyond that, it would ruin invasion mode if you could pause when there where corruptrons active so you could issue orders to all your defenders, set where you want you catapults to aim, and recall all your workers, and so on.
