Corruptrons go through stairs instead of door

I have a large stairway leading up to a door with a large wall below the wall is a large trench i dug out so they have to use the stairs as a choke point, instead of attacking the door and going through my defenders they broke the stairwell destroying the only entrance to my "Castle" and started attacking the wall of the trench (dirt) which my wall is below)
