I suggest to add a new mineral "the ultimate one", a kind of obsidian, mithril, whatever you'd like to call it.
That mineral would be handle like iron (and so need a go to the forge) and let the player have indestructible colored(black if obsidian) bricks, far more powerful weapons (like a corruptron one-shoter sword) and be used in various powerful devices (more in a coming suggestion). But it would be very rare.

It could also be used to make improved version of the pylons, like a attack pylons that does not overheat and deals way more damages ; a pylon with 4 times more range, etc.
