Bricktrons getting stuck on nothing

You have probably gotten this one before...
I was playing invasion on Orosi Valley and my bricktrons systematically ceased to function. It was quite random, they didn't all stop working at the same time and they weren't stuck on anything. Most of them had different tasks aswell and it was fairly early game. I gave up at wave 4, as all 5 of my bricktrons were stuck at that point.
I played in sandbox earlier on and no such problems appeared there.
