Suggestions on new units

I'll just give some suggestions on new units you can add.
First of all, some attributes that would distinguish them, I propose : DPS, range, speed, health+armor, (magic armor). Some may sayn it is the classical set for RTS. :)

Several examples of units:
  • bow: medium range
  • javelin thrower, lower range, faster unit or more DPS
  • arbalester : longer range, medium armor or shield, but higher reload speed.
  • runner: low armor, faster
  • soldier: the current knight
  • knight: heavy health and armor, slower
  • sword+shield: as for the knight
  • big shield: the unit carry only a shield, can serve as protection for following units
  • double sword (or two-handed sword): more DPS
  • hammer: more DPS against walls
  • axe: more DPS against wooden structure
  • spear: bonus attack against bigger units
  • ninja : run fast and climb walls slowly with grapples
You can have several type of mage with different effects. For instance the classical earth/fire/water. As there is no water in the game, I propose we replace it with air and a soul mage that can use the fireflies.
  • earth/stone: could take and launch rocks from the ground.
  • fire: fireball, burning stuff, big DPS and area effect.
  • air: repel units, can fly or propulse units up.
  • souls/fireflies: heal, invoke stuff, resurrect, control/distract enemy units.
Several examples of siege weapons:
  • catapult: long range weapon with area effect.
  • ballista: long range weapon without area effect.
  • trebuchet: very long range, not accurate or can throw several barrels at once for an even bigger BOOM.
For the projectiles (for the catapult), you can have:
  • stone : throw one stone, no area effect
  • explosive barrel: current one
  • metal spiky projectile: big damages, no area effect
  • shrapnel: bigger area effect
These are just some ideas, not really accurate, but if you find cool some of them and add them into the game, I'll be delighted. I may add some other ideas or precisions in this same thread.

If you can allow players to configure the color of their bricktrons and another color we would found on their equipments/flags/hats of bowtrons, it could be really nice.
