Multiplayer saving

Hi, me and my friend are enjoying Castle Story so we tried to make a server and it worked. But when we were done for the day saved I the server progression. The next day my friend couldn't join the server and I've tried to remake the server 3 times and the same thing happend. When ever he tried to join the saved server it said "Error you need to read this before playing ..." something like that please if you know how to solve this problem it would be appreciated. 
EDIT: Okay I fixed it but now my friend can't see the ground only the water under the world and the structures we've built after saving the world
