Manually detonate explosive barrels for Mining Mountainsides/Quarrying Landscapes

Currently, there are 2 methods of making barrels explode. One is to catapult it, and the other is to manually detonate it.

As of recent livestream, it is mentioned the holes created by explosive barrels can be too powerful on certain maps where the land is very thin, or when there are fewer land masses. It makes to have them not create too many craters.

However, this will have adverse effects when players want to quickly mine mountain cliffs, or quarry landscapes, rushing against time in Invasion and Conquest Modes. This makes explosive barrels less useful for these situations.

Shatojon on the livestream mentioned manual detonation of explosive barrels. It make sense to restrict this gameplay feature to detonate explosive barrels to make craters, allowing faster mining, and faster quarrying. It is manually performed by the player, simply because the player chooses to do so, and by all means, it makes sense to allow the players to have this freedom of destroying land masses, especially in Sandbox Mode. In Conquest Mode, manual detonation can also bring interesting gameplay elements to the game, by strategically placing the barrels to create more damage to the opposing players, due to its larger damage radius. It make sense for a real-time strategy sandbox game.

Please consider this suggestion as an alternate means of mining/quarrying, but keep the catapulted explosive barrels restricted with less damage towards the terrain and land masses.

As you go about it, please consider the manual detonation to destroy more trees in the surrounding area, than catapulting explosive barrels. They have a higher chance of hitting the trees while in the air than manually placing them.
